An original contemporary landscape painting.
 
'The Ancient Downs' 
 
Inspired by walks on the ancient Wiltshire Downs.  The traingle shapes within the painting ground the viewer in the present at their feet, with the points hinting towards the unknown in the distance.
 
I create these paintings by adding layer, upon layer of paint.  I use many different techniques to apply the paint and as well as scratching down with various tools to reveal layers underneath.
 
The painting is acyrlic on deep boxed canvas and finished with a uv varnish finish, measuring 35 x 46 cm.
 
Sold unframed.
 
I carefully wrap and despatch orders as soon as possible and send via a signed for service.  Alternatively, collection from my studio is an option.
