A Moment of Awakening.

He saw for the first time that the bars he watched life through were not his cage, they had been his own creation all along.

They'd always been behind him.

The prison had been the past that he'd kept tight around himself and the stripes of identity he had proudly worn.

He blinked away the veil and became free.

In a vibrational light, he and his prison become one.

Fully in his power, with complete clarity he faces ahead.

His searing gaze, as sharp as claws, wordlessly questioning.

I create these paintings by adding layer, upon layer of paint.  I use many different techniques to apply the paint, as well as scratching down with various tools to reveal layers underneath.

My paintings are full of meaning and filled with colour, love and joy.

The painting is acyrlic on deep box canvas 120 x 100 x 5cm 

This painting is unframed, signed on the back and complete with d-rings and hanging string so it can go straight on the wall.
